This listing is for the modification of your stock YPVS controller to a fully reprogrammable unit.
You will have to send the YPVS control unit to me, I will modify it and then post it back to you.

A modified YPVS controller, gives full access to the timing cycle of the exhaust power valves. By reprogramming the ypvs controller, there are lots of gains in the middle & top rpm range, as Yamaha had linearity in mind when the bikes left the factory. This is particularly true if you've changed exhausts and/ or tuned the bike but stock engines will benefit as well.

After the modification, you will receive back your YPVS controller, along with a chart with suggested settings, to get the best acceleration and horsepower from your bike. The chart includes all Yamaha stock timings as well, from early Rd350 models up to Tz250s!

The modification is plug & play, no alterations needed to your wiring loom or any other part of the bike. Plug the YPVS control unit, set the preferred exhaust valve timing and go! Dip switches are protected from a Velcro strip (not shown in the pic).

You can also program a specific YPVS control unit to work on a different Yamaha bike as well.

This modification applies to :
Tzr250 1KT & 2MA,
Rd350 YPVS,
RD500
TZ250 up to 1990 models
...and early models Dt125, Dt200 and Tzr125.

I can also repair malfunctioning YPVS boxes. Please, contact me for more details.

Keep the 2 strokes alive!

Volvo makes breakthrough in battery tech

Thu, 17 Oct 2013

Volvo has developed a new way of ‘storing’ energy for its future electric vehicles. The Swedish firm is exploring the concept of lightweight structural energy storage components made from carbonfibre, containing “nano structured batteries and super capacitors.” This technology is said to offer a lighter, more compact solution to the problem of energy storage, potentially removing the need for the heavy, bulky batteries used in current electric vehicles. On Bing: see pictures of the Volvo S80 Find out how much a used Volvo S80 costs on Auto Trader The investigation into the new technology is part of an EU-funded research project, undertaken by Volvo – the only major car manufacturer involved – and nine other organisations.

Ferrari F150: New Enzo to cost €1-1.1m, 499 cars, delivery starts October 2013

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

The new Enzo Ferrari – the F150 – will arrive at Geneva, cost €1-1.1m Euros, just 499 will be built and delivery starts in October. We know for sure that the new McLaren P1 will come with 903bhp courtesy of a ‘hybrid’ boost, and it seems likely the new Enzo – the Ferrari F150, until we get the proper name – will usurp that with somewhere between 920 and 950bhp from its V12 plus electric boost. But now we know a bit more.

Hyundai halts 2011 Sonata sales because of door glitch

Tue, 23 Feb 2010

Hyundai Motor America today ordered a halt to sales of the 2011 Sonata after notifying dealers that front door-lock modules on some cars can stick under some circumstances. With intense scrutiny bearing down on rival Toyota Motor Corp., Hyundai hopes to quickly and quietly resolve the product glitch on the recently released 2011 Sonata sedan. The Sonata is Hyundai's biggest-volume vehicle, with 2009 sales of 120,028 cars.
