Lamborghini produces 2000th Aventador

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 (LP standing for Longitudinal Position, 700 for hp, and 4 for four-wheel drive) has quite the bloodline of predecessors, featuring a famed list of Italian exotics that most people would have on their dream-car list. Owing its heritage to the likes of the Miura, Countach, Diablo and Murcielago, the Aventador continues to be Lamborghini's halo car and everyone's favorite poster. As production of the coupe, roadster and other various editions continue at Lamborghini's Sant'Agata Bolognese plant, the automaker celebrated a milestone with 2,000 units being made as of Thursday.

Maserati shows Alfieri concept at the Geneva motor show

It's named the Alfieri concept, which Maserati will be the first to tell you is not the "Guyfieri." Otherwise, it'd come with a golden roof, a Ferrari V8 slathered in beer batter, and a deep-fried interior reeking of Cheetos and desperation. Indeed the Alfieri concept, a gorgeous wide-grilled sports car more in line with the Porsche 911 than its own GranTurismo, is a celebration of Alfieri Maserati, one of the five brothers who founded the eponymous company.

Facelifted Lexus GX 460 gets price cut for 2014

Lexus has just released pricing for its refreshed GX 460 SUV, or LUV as Lexus likes to call it, for Luxury Utility Vehicle. The most noticeable change on the outside is the updated corporate fascia in the form of the Lexus spindle grille, though the freshened GX 460 also gets LED headlights, along with daytime running lights and available LED fog lights. More importantly, the GX 460 will get a $4,710 price cut.
