2012-2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD / SR5 / Rock Warrior - 3.0"F-1.0"R SST Lift Kit

ReadyLIFT® Suspension Inc. has used their proven technological engineering methods to produce a SST Suspension Lift System for the 2012-UP Six-Lug Toyota Tacoma TRD / SR5 / Rock Warrior / Prerunner trucks (P/N 69-5112) that lifts the truck 2.75"-3.0" and includes a new tapered 1.0" rear lift block. The intermediate Smart Strut Technology system fits all 2012-UP Tacoma and Prerunner models including both 2WD and 4WD models. This kit provides the owner with the opportunity to upgrade to larger wheel and tire combinations up to 33-inches in diameter while retaining the great stock ride and handling characteristics. 32.5" tire diameter is recommended. In order to fit 33" tires you will have to do some minor trimming of the inner fenderwell.

NOTE: 2011-2015 Tacoma applications: Toyota made minor changes to the Tacoma upper control arm suspension geometry. In some cases adding a leveling kit MAY affect the ability to correct the caster alignment to within factory specifications. If you have a 2011-2014 Tacoma with a leveling kit and the caster alignment specs cannot be put back to factory your truck will require an aftermarket upper control arm with adjustable caster/camber

Toyota Prius Recall: 5,000 UK cars affected – 242,000 worldwide

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

5,000 2009 Toyota Prius (pictured) are being recalled Toyota has had a bit of a nightmare with recalls in recent years, and the news that they’re now having to recall 242,000 Prius models from 2009 worldwide is another financial, and logistical, problem for Toyota. But in truth, the recalls are about car makers now taking responsibility for faults in their cars which become apparent long after warranties have expired, and that’s no bad thing. The Prius models affected are those built between March 2009 and October 2009 (you can check if your car is affected here) and the UK has 4,947 cars on the road that need to be looked at by Toyota’s dealers.

New 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible: Official

Wed, 02 Jan 2013

The Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible, the drop top version of the GT Speed, has been officially revealed ahead of a Detroit Auto Show debut. Just as expected, Bentley has transplanted all the goodies from the latest version of the GT Speed in to the GTC Speed, which means a fulsome 616bhp and 590lb/ft of torque from the delicious 6.0 litre W12 and, despite gaining more than 200kg to keep the huge Bentley stiff without its roof, the GT Speed Convertible manages to hustle to 62mph in 4.1 seconds – just a tenth slower than the tin-top Speed. That extra lard does have more impact as you head towards 100mph with the convertible taking 0.7 seconds more, but there’s not exactly a paucity of power on offer.
