OWNERS OF 1999 & NEWER 1500's PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:

**1999 AND NEWER SILVERADO & SIERRA 1500 4x4 & 4x2 HAVE CAST IRON SPACERS RIGHT FROM THE FACTORY WHICH RANGE IN HEIGHT FROM 1.25" TO 2".

THE TOP SURFACE OF THE SPRING PADS ON THE AXLE HOUSINGS ARE NOT COMPLETELY FLAT, SO TYPICAL AFTERMARKET LIFT BLOCKS ALONE TEND TO "ROCK AROUND" BECAUSE OF NOT HAVING FULL CONTACT BETWEEN TOP OF PAD TO BOTTOM OF LIFT BLOCKS.

HOWEVER, THE FACTORY SPACERS FIT PERFECT ON THE AXLE PADS, AND HAVE A LARGE FLAT TOP SURFACE WHICH OUR AFTERMARKET 2" LIFT BLOCKS FIT WITH FULL FLAT CONTACT!

OUR 2" LIFT BLOCKS ARE DESIGNED TO WORK IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FACTORY SPACER BLOCKS. THEY FIT SECURLY BETWEEN THE FACTORY SPACER BLOCK & LEAF SPRING!

"I HAVE RUN THESE ON MY OWN 2004 1500 4X4 FOR 10 YEARS NOW WITH NO PROBLEM"

One-hundred-octane blood flows through my veins. But nothing revs my engine quite like the Chevrolet Corvette. It's my dad's fault.

Young drivers risking lives by 'neglecting eyesight'

Thu, 14 Nov 2013

ONE IN SEVEN young drivers put themselves and other road users in danger because of poor vision and problems with their eyesight, according to a new study. The survey, conducted on behalf of thinkaboutyoureyes.co.uk found that those in the 18-24 age bracket were far more likely than older drivers to have problems driving because of bad vision. While more than half of drivers over 55 are required to wear glasses or corrective lenses when driving compared to just a third of young drivers, almost one in ten young drivers believe they actually probably should be wearing glasses when they drive.

Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart shifts gears, sells his stuff

Mon, 30 Aug 2010

Ivan “Ironman” Stewart’s high-speed lifestyle of flying through the desert, leaving a rooster tail of dust, is taking a turn down a calmer, gentler road. Stewart, 64, is ready to slow things down and create more time for himself and his family. “I’m not retiring,” he insists, “just changing directions.” Last weekend he sold his off-road racing truck business and everything that goes along with it.
