MINI decided around this time last year that they would name all future limited editions after London districts, since which time we’ve had the MINI Hampton and MINI Pimlico followed by the MINI Soho and even the MINI London to get a bit of extra mileage out of BMW’s Olympics 2012 sponsorship. And we mean extremely limited: just 40 cars celebrating 40 years of BMW racing in North America will be made. Each car will have the Frozen Silver paint, black hood intakes and dark chrome exterior trim.

It must be pantomime season when car makers (well, car tuners in the shape of Bulgaria’s Vilner) send out a press release for a product with half of it taken up with references to Cinderella. Yes, it seems the new Mercedes G-Class by Vilner is a carriage for for Cinderella.
