This is from a wrecked KZ 550 GPZ with just over 700 miles. It appears mechanically sound, straight, and not bent. It needs cleaning and there are some light scratches in the paint, mainly from being stored in my shed for many years. A little black spray paint would make it first class. Called the Cosworth Impreza STI CS400, Subaru promises its four-wheel drive hot hatch will have ‘supercar-humbling pace’ and, presumably, be quick enough to match the Mitsubishi Evo X FQ-400 too. Near enough – this Cosworth-tweaked Impreza has 400PS.

RM classic-car auction in Detroit rakes in more than $2.5 million

A 1958 Pontiac Parisienne droptop sold for $104,500, and a 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz went for $82,500 at the annual classic-car event, April 24-25 in Novi, Mich. Prices include a buyers premium.
