Subaru Legacy Concept heading for Los Angeles Auto Show
Thu, 14 Nov 2013The new Subaru Legacy Concept (pictured) is heading for Los Angeles Auto Show The Subaru Legacy is a more than decent car – and very appealing – but it’s not the most stylish looking car. But that could soon change if the new Subaru Legacy Concept – revealed today ahead of a debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week – is anything to go by. Interestingly, we’d thought that Mercedes would go the route of a mid-engined two-seater for the baby SLS, and that it would probably get a turbo V6. But it would appear not.
Fuel Duty frozen and car tax discs scrapped
Thu, 05 Dec 2013Fuel Duty frozen and car tax discs scrapped Fuel duty makes up a painful chunk of the price of petrol and diesel, and it was due to be increased again next September. But Chancellor George Osborne has announced that the tax hike will be scrapped – as has been the case every year sicne the Con-Dems came to power – saving motorists an additional 2p on a litre of fuel. It may not be a price cut, but at least it’s not going up.
