The new five-door Up hatch will cost £397 more than the three-door Up on the Continent; UK prices have yet to be revealed, but the three-door will kick off at £7995 when sales start on 6 March 2012. Jaguar F-Type UK public debut

But that’s about to change as Jaguar has decided to debut their new sports car at this year’s Lord Mayor’s Show in London on 10th November. But just to make sure there’s an added bit of kudos for the new F-Type as it drives along London’s City Streets, Jaguar has roped in Olympic golden girl Jessica Ennis to cast a bit of the residual fairy dust from this year’s summer of sport with a photocall before the show and Jess behind the wheel as the Lord Mayor’s procession takes to the streets.
UK car manufacturing jumps 12%
Thu, 24 Apr 2014CAR PRODUCTION is accelerating ahead, driven by demand from Europe, according to the latest figures. A total of 142,158 cars were manufactured in the UK in March - a 12% rise on the March 2013 figure, the Society of Motor Manufacturers (SMMT) said. Last month's figure brought the 2014 production total to nearly 405,000 - a 2.9% increase on the January-March 2013 total.
