Toyota Prius T Spirit Review & Road Test (2010) Part 3
Sun, 12 Dec 2010The Toyota Prius acquitted itself well in the snow - once we'd dug it out. It seems to us that the Prius is a mode of transport, not a car in the sense we enjoy a car. It’s not about feeding sensations back to the driver or a beautifully balanced chassis or an interior to die for or a design that makes little butterflies flutter in the pit of your stomach.
Vauxhall to launch sub-£7k city car
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Vauxhall is believed to be working on a budget city car to rival the Toyota Aygo, Peugeot 108 and Citroen C1 trio unveiled earlier this month at Geneva. According to Auto Express, the new small hatchback will be based on the Chevrolet Spark platform and will start at less than £7,000 – undercutting the firm’s current Adam model by over £4,000. On Bing: see pictures of Vauxhall city cars Find out how much a used Vauxhall costs on Auto Trader If you’re expecting a bland box on wheels like the Agila, don’t fear – as Vauxhall has reportedly said the new car will “have its own distinct personality”.
Mazda 3, Mazda 6 get customized for the SEMA Show
Tue, 05 Nov 2013We like the look of Mazda's current lineup, from the basic 2 to the sleek 6. Kodo design language has a lot to do with it -- Mazda North American Operations design director Derek Jenkins says that, thanks that Kodo styling, "the Zoom-Zoom genetic code is further being embraced, not buried, through increasingly expressive vehicle design." (Ugh.-ED) We didn't know genetics had anything to do with it, but hey -- tough to argue with the results. Perhaps Kodo's effectiveness is why Mazda's SEMA show concepts are fairly...restrained compared to what other automakers are bringing to Las Vegas.
