VW Golf GTD (2013) first pictures of diesel hot hatch

VW's Golf GTD - a performance diesel brother to the GTI hot hatch - is here. Rated at 182bhp and 280lb ft, it boasts more punch than the old GTD (an extra 12bhp and 14lb ft), and scores better fuel economy too: up 14mpg to 67.3mpg, if you opt for the six-speed manual gearbox. Summer 2014 issue of Interior Motives magazine out now

The summer edition of Car Design News' quarterly interior design publication, Interior Motives magazine, is out now. This issue features in-depth design development articles on the most important concepts from this year's Delhi, Geneva, New York and Beijing auto shows. The cover story is Hyundai's Intrado fuel-cell crossover.

Kia Cee'd

Despite the Detroit Auto Show still being in full swing, Kia has given a first look at the all-new Cee'd, set to debut at Geneva in March. Very little detail about the second-generation Cee'd has been released, but externally the car adopts Peter Schreyer's tiger-inspired grille and high-set, wrap-around headlamps. The chrome detailing across the DRG and around the DLO are said to give the car a more premium appearance.
