Audi A7 Sportback Competition gets 322 bhp Audi has decided that a fitting way to celebrate 25 years of turbodiesel Audis is to create a special edition A7 Sportback with added power. Seems reasonable. So we get the Audi A7 Sportback Competition which comes with the regular 3.0 litre BiTurbo diesel but with just a little bit more oomph with 322bhp and 479lb/ft of torque – just 6bhp up on the normal lump.

Lotus has a big presence at this week's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance events, with the Evora GTE Road Car concept making its world premiere and the limited-production Matte Black Final Edition of the Exige making a U.S. debut. The Lotus Evora GTE Road Car concept will be shown for the first time at the McCall's Motorworks Revival event on Wednesday night at the Monterey Jet Center.

The Tesla Model S, a full sized Electric Saloon car, unveiled in California The Tesla Model S is a full size saloon which, at the projected price of $50,000 (including a federal tax break), should make a significant impact on the market. I say projected simply because the car will not be ready for sale until 2011, so there is plenty of time for ‘adjustments’. We’ll see.
