A Very Merry F1 Christmas!
Thu, 25 Dec 20082008 has been a pretty eventful year in Formula 1. Lots of highs and lows; arguments over penalties for some drivers and not for others; new venues with stunning facilities and some pretty impressive racing to boot. Which should give F1 Supremo Bernie Ecclestone some great options for his annual Christmas card to close friends.
Audi Q2 at Paris Motor Show?
Thu, 14 Jun 2012The growing range of SUVs from Audi looks set to continue with the launch of the Audi Q2 at this year’s Paris Motor Show. This time last year we reported that Audi looks set to introduce the Q1, Q2, Q4 and Q6 in the coming years, with all but the Q1 set to be ‘Coupe SUVs’ aimed at style conscious buyers.
Don’t text and drive says Volkswagen – very effectively (video)
Sat, 14 Jun 2014Cinema goers in for a shock in VW’s don’t text and drive campaign We’re not the biggest fans of putting drivers in a bubble of concentration behind the wheel, which is what law makers seem to be trying to do. Don’t take a sip from that water bottle, don’t change the channel on the radio, don’t have a conversation with your passengers, don’t smoke, don’t take hands-free phone calls – in fact, don’t do anything but drive. But it’s a foolish trend as it’s the little things going on that keep drivers alert; focusing just on the driving is a sure fire way make drivers’ brains go in to a fug and lose concentration.
