GM recalls 15,627 Chevrolet Captiva crossovers

General Motors is recalling 15,627 Chevrolet Captiva crossovers from the 2011-12 model years because the power steering fluid could overheat under certain conditions, leading to an engine compartment fire, the automaker said Wednesday. The recall includes 3,150 vehicles sold to rental car fleets in the United States. No fires have been reported in the United States, where the Captiva is available only for fleet sale.

CDN has learned that Lowie Vermeersch has resigned from Pininfarina, where he was Design Director. According to our sources, the Belgian designer has left to pursue other as yet unnamed ventures in the design industry. Vermeersch has been at Pininfarina for the last 12 years, leading the design team that created the new Ferrari 458 as well as the Duettottanta and Sintesi concept cars.

Ferrari’s new ‘limited edition special series car’ – the Ferrari F150 / New Enzo – has been confirmed for a reveal at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. You may be astonished to learn that Ferrari hasn’t officially confirmed that the replacement for the Enzo – codenamed Ferrari F150 – will actually debut at the Geneva Motor Show But it hasn’t.
