Lamborghini Reventon Roadster – First customer car
Tue, 01 Dec 2009The first Lamborghini Reventon Roadster has been delivered to Switzerland The Lamborghini Reventon Roadster has been a bit of a saga here at Cars UK Towers this year. We broke the news that Lamborghini were planning a roofless version of the Reventon Coupe back in March, and apart from the fact that no one believed our ‘Scoop’ – and we had Lamborghini on the phone asking us to retract the story – we were sure the information we had was real. Sat, 27 Oct 2012Media reviews for the 2013 Range Rover have been going on in Morocco this week, so we have a round-up and video. Sadly, Cars UK didn’t get an invite, but that’s not going to stop us doing our own ‘review’ of what the lucky ones who did attend thought of the Range Rover. And we’ve also got hold of Land Rover’s B-Roll footage from the tests – designed to be chopped up and voiced-over for individual video reviews of the new Range Rover – so we’ve put that at the bottom for you to flick through.
Porsche 918 Spyder (2010) at Geneva motor show
Mon, 01 Mar 2010Porsche has shown off this stunning new 918 Spyder concept car on the eve of the 2010 Geneva motor show. It’s a mid-engined two-seater in the mould of the Porsche Carrera GT – a landmark supercar to showcase Porsche’s technical nous. Michael Macht, president and chief executive officer of Porsche, unveiled the 918 Spyder in Switzerland, and intriguingly proclaimed that Porsche has never shown a concept car that it hasn’t put into production… Porsche’s official press release was light on the details, but after the unveil Porsche’s R&D chief Wolfgang Durheimer talked CAR around the 918 Spyder and revealed some eye-popping figures for this part-electric hybrid supercar which weighs in at 'less than 1490kg'.
