This is a completely rebuilt 787 Rotax engine from a 1997 Sea-doo XP. It is also known as the 800 motor. It will work in any Sea-doo watercraft or jet boat that uses this engine type. It engine will not work in the RFI or fuel injected applications. The engine has been rebuilt with all NEW parts. Starting with the cylinders, they have been bored oversize with new pistons and rings installed in them. The crankshaft was replaced with a NEW Hot Rods crankshaft assembly, not a rebuilt like so many use. The balance shaft had new seals and bearings installed on it, then the engine was assembled with all new seals, bearings, and gaskets. It also has the rotary valve and cover installed on it so you won't have to worry about proper valve timing. The engine was painted the factory white color upon completion. The newer versions of this motor were painted silver, and some black and grey. Either way they were painted they are all the same engine. I do have this available in the silver color also if you have a newer unit and want to have a color matching engine. The engine comes with the necessary gaskets to install it into your ski, as well as a new set of spark plugs. It will be shipped thru UPS and insured for the full bid amount.

This auction works on an exchange basis. I do require that you send your old engine back to me as a core. With that said, I will be adding a core deposit to the final auction price. It will be $550.00. This money will be refunded to you after I receive and inspect your old engine. Any damage to the engine out of the norm will have the cost to repair/replace the damaged parts deducted from the deposit. I know the crank will be bad, and the pistons probably junk, this is normal. Holes or cracks in the cases/cylinders/head, cylinders bored to 1m.m. oversize or more, broken bolts, missing parts, things like this are not normal! If you have any questions on this feel free to e-mail me. I will not accept an SBT rebuilt engine as a core! And you must return the same engine type that you receive. I also ask that you return the core in a timely manor. You are welcome to send me your old engine first to avoid the deposit if you wish. Thanks....

Mon, 05 Mar 2012

2013 Ford Kuga The European version of the North American Escape – the 2013 Ford Kuga – has been revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. What’s to say about the 2013 Ford Kuga that we haven’t already said about the new North American Ford Escape? Not a lot is the truth, as apart from minor differences – lights and name, principally – the Kuga and Escape are one and the same in Ford’s ‘One Ford’ world.

Peugeot 407 Coupe – new diesels

Thu, 09 Jul 2009

Peugeot has introduced two new diesel engines for its stylish 407 Coupe But it’s a decent car, and Peugeot has now made it more appealing with some updates for 2009 / 2010. The style changes are very minor – a bit of chrome trim and bigger door mirrors – and the 407 Coupe now gets  Bluetooth and hands-free as standard equipment on its Connect Navigation (RNEG). But the big news is the new diesel engines.

Renault R-Space concept car (2011) at 2011 Geneva motor show

Tue, 01 Mar 2011

Renault will show off a glimpse of its thinking for the Scenic segment with the new R-Space concept car at the 2011 Geneva motor show. It’s a 4.3m long show car that’s designed to inject some pizzazz where today’s Scenic prefers a more sober style. The new-fangled Renault look as pioneered by incoming design chief Laurens van den Acker is present and correct: there’s a large diamond on the nose and heaps more character than the current MPV.
