“Rebuilt Carter BBD 2-barrel carburetor carb, ID tag number 6152s. We are not familiar with all makes and models this fits. Please verify part number and pics match your application. Throttle bores measure 1-7/16" and mounting bolt holes center to center are 1-7/8" x 3-1/4". Carb was rebuilt and test ran years ago and has sat on a shelf since. Will probably need a light freshen/cleaning before use.”

At last week's politically charged congressional hearing on the troubles of Fisker Automotive, Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, said that the company had "no business acumen" and that "taxpayers have effectively subsidized luxury novelty vehicles for the likes of Justin Bieber, Leonardo DiCaprio and Al Gore." Ouch. Republicans eager to score points against President Obama had a field day last week with Fisker.

A limited edition of the Infiniti FX – the FX Black and White Edition – is launched in Europe based on the FX S Premium. But not for the UK. Sales for the whole of 2012 amounted to just 582 cars (Lexus, in the same period, sold 8,404), up by an impressive 38 per cent, but from irrelevant to…still irrelevant.
