Here is a 1979 454 chevy engine rebuilt by GM good wrench 20 years ago. Approximately 25-30k miles,   And a turbo 400 transmission.  Engine runs smooth and perfect, and transmission works and shifts like it should.    I have a picture of the engine oil and transmission oil( both very clean).   I am removing the entire setup for someone to purchase that includes all the accessories ( power steering pump, belts, pulleys, fan, hoses, alternator, brackets, motor mounts, carb to oil pan .  And air cleaner included .    Also I am including the turbo 400 trans. And also I am including free shipping and handling to your local freight terminal where you can pick this up.    ($600 value in shipping alone) .     The engine has a mild rv cam installed and I would say has approximately 300+ horsepower and 400+ lb/ft of torque .      It will pull a house down in the 3+3 chevy truck that it was in.       Don't get nickeled and domed to death buying or rebuilding stuff.  It will cost you double easily!   And a lot of agrivation.    I'm selling you a drop in and go setup.    Starter also included .   Thanks .

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray's 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine has been rated at 455 hp at 6,000 rpm and 460 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm -- the highest standard-power rating ever for the Corvette. An available performance-exhaust system boosts the rating up to 460 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque. Chevrolet says the new LT1 with standard exhaust has 25 more horsepower than the current Corvette's base LS3 6.2-liter engine, which is rated at 430 hp, and 41 lb-ft more torque compared with the 2013 model's 424 lb-ft.
