This listing is for the pictured engine but with a new reman block.  I will need 7-14 days to receive the new block and swap everything over.

A customer installed this engine in his boat and this engine ended up with coolant in the cylinders and low compression.  One cylinder has 0 psi compression.  Everything else on the engine appears to be good.  Looks like it will need a rebuilt or a replacement block.  PARTS ON THE ENGINE PICTURED ARE INCLUDED, including risers and manifolds, starter, alternator, etc.  Please contact me with any questions.

This engine was an original engine in a 1995 Searay Sundancer 250.

SHIPPING:  I am more than happy to secure this engine to a pallet and stretch wrap for shipping.  I can also help walk you through the shipping process.  You will need to choose your shipper and pay them directly but I can help.   This engine should cost between $175-$300 to ship to a business address in the US.

One Lap of the Web: Fake movie cars, Russian dash cams and 'Forza'

Wed, 19 Jun 2013

We spend a lot of time on the Internet -- pretty much whenever we're not driving, writing about or working on cars. Last week, we offered two options for your eternal torment, a straight-8 Packard and a straight-8 Buick, and we just love those classic Detroit cars! So much so, in fact, that we're going to stick with Detroit (well, Detroit and Kenosha, if you want to split hairs) and fast-forward the calendar a couple of decades to the Golden Age of Muscle Cars.

McLaren P1 tests in Arctic, MP4-12C at drag strip

Tue, 30 Apr 2013

McLaren has produced less than a handful of road cars in its 50-year existence, and they've all been hits. The company currently sells two cars for the street: the P1 and the MP4-12C, and they both require the “super” moniker. The McLaren P1 made its debut at the Paris motor show in September, and has been the subject of many analyses ever since.
