Totally Rebuilt to run like new

Carb and linkages were totally disassembled, chemically cleaned, passages blown clear with high pressure air. New throttle shaft imported from Zenith in the UK. Piston and bore were polished and mounts trued. New fuel inlet needle valve, throttle shaft seals, gaskets, diaphragm and o-rings installed. Manual choke was disassembled, cleaned and adjusted. Includes new manifold mounting gaskets. 

Manifold has Smith's PCV and good mounting flanges with mounting hardware


Bolt it on, add oil, adjust and drive

Rain-soaked Woodward Avenue welcomed thousands of cruisers and car enthusiasts for the 16th annual Dream Cruise on a wet Saturday just north of Detroit. Though the weather didn't cooperate for much of the day with rain ranging from a mist to steady showers, it failed to dampen the spirits of car fans for all over. As usual, Mustangs, Corvettes and Challengers took center stage on the iconic strip, which plays host to the yearly summer celebration of chrome and fins.

Magna gets Vauxhall and Opel

Canadian parts maker Magna takes control of Opel and Vauxhall The German Government is to supply funding of €1.5 billion to help the new Opel/Vauxhall operation to finance the transition. The news hasn’t come a moment too soon, as the US Government had given GM only until Monday to resolve the issue before the likely bankruptcy of GM. The Opel/Vauxhall operation will now be ring-fenced from the insolvency of its former parent in the US and will become ana entity in its own right.
