Up for sale is a professionally rebuilt pair of date matched Small Block Chevy double hump cylinder heads. Casting number is 3890462. The heads are dated L146 & L166 (December 14, 1966 & December 16, 1966). They have 64cc combustion chambers with new 1.94 intake and new 1.50 exhaust valves. The 462 is one of the best closed chamber cylinder heads of the 1960’s. Heads have been hot tanked, shot blasted, and magnafluxed. These heads have been completely rebuilt with 8 new hardened exhaust seats for unleaded fuel, 16 new thick wall bronze valve guides, a 3 angle valve job, 8 new intake valves, 8 new exhaust valves, & 16 new Z-28 valve springs good for up to .500” valve lift. These heads have also been resurfaced .007” for a perfect head gasket seal. Heads are then thoroughly washed and fully assembled with 16 new premium umbrella valve stem seals, 16 new OEM “O” ring seals, and 32 new heavy-duty keepers. All valves and valve seats have been checked for a perfect compression seal. There is no porting or polishing on any intake port, exhaust port, or any combustion chamber. All threaded bolt holes are good (One head has a Heli-Coil thread repair done on an exhaust bolt hole & on a valve cover bolt hole. The same head also has a thick wall thread repair on a valve cover bolt hole, See pictures). The heads come as pictured and are ready to install. The heads pictured are the actual heads you are buying and will receive. The double hump / camel hump heads were factory installed on all High Performance Fuel Injected and carbureted Chevrolet vehicles including Corvette, Camaro RS SS & Z-28, Chevelle Malibu, Chevy II Nova, Bel Air, & Impala. These heads will also interchange with other camel hump heads with casting numbers 461, 461X, 462, 291, 292, 186, 041, & 492. These heads will fit all 265, 283, 302, 305, 307, 327, 350, & 400 small block Chevy engines from 1955 to 1986 with no modifications (steam holes will need to be drilled for a 400) and 1987-1999 with correct intake manifold (except 1992 & up LT-1 reverse flow). I tried to list everything about these heads but please ask any/all questions before buying. He's one of the most established names in the supercar arena, having started with Ferrari in 1973 as founder Enzo’s assistant and grand prix team manager. After winning two world championships with Nikki Lauda in 1975 and 1977, he left to head the organisation responsible for staging the 1990 football World Cup in Italy.

They’re selling the new Lotus Evora hand over fist and have plans in place to a convertible Evora and of course the new Lotus Esprit.
