I recently purchased a large lot of New Old Stock auto parts from the estate of an auto parts store owner who closed the doors of the shop in the mid 80's. Along with this lot of parts was a large number of rebuilt starters and alternators. I am listing all the starters and alternators here on Ebay starting at $9.99 each with no reserve. These starters and alternators are rebuilt and have never been used or installed. Some still have the boxes, others had tattered boxes that were thrown out. I used Ebay's part number system for the interchange info above. Please confirm your specific application by conparing your current part to the pictures before bidding. Please check my other listings for more of these nice rebuilt parts.

This is a very nice rebuilt starter. The part number is 3169. The tag reads 34-1766. The housing is stamped D8BF-11131-AA as shown. It looks like this starter lists for many 80's Ford and Mercury inline 6 cylinder applications. It may also fit earlier applications. Please confirm your specific application.

This is your chance to own the starter you have been looking for at NO RESERVE! That's right, the high bidder at auction end will be the proud new owner of this rebuilt unit. Don't Miss Out!

Check out my other listings for more great deals.

GOOD LUCK!

British manufacturer Atalanta Motors to make comeback

Wed, 03 Sep 2014

Ever heard of Atalanta Motors? We wouldn’t be surprised if you hadn’t as the British sports car manufacturer went out of business a long time ago. Owing to the outbreak of World War II, Atalanta Motors shut its doors back in 1939 after making only 21 cars.

New Hyundai Test Centre at the Nurburgring revealed

Sun, 02 Jun 2013

Hyundai’s new test centre at the Nurburgring If anyone had said, just a few years ago, that Hyundai would develop a test centre at the Nurburgring to help shake-down their cars, they’d have been laughed at. But Hyundai – and Kia – have come so far in recent years that it makes absolute sense for them to develop a full-time testing facility at the Nurburgring to test their cars for the road, along with just about every other car maker of note. James May may object to the Nurburgring factor in the suspension set-ups of many road cars (and we do have some sympathy for his point of view), but the sometimes extreme nature of the Nurburgring’s surfaces – and its endless twists and turns, uphill and down – do offer car makers an easily accessible place to test cars in the (almost) real world.

One Lap of the Web: Le Mans souvenirs, F1 in 360, and a BMW fit for a biker

-- Collin Woodard was "that weird friend who was strangely committed to riding a motorcycle." Being the weird motorcycle-owning friend, however, can only get you so far until you start an influential motorcycle blog or start making sepia-toned hipster videos on expensive Canon 5Ds and wildly unreliable CB550Fs. Woodward needed a car, and boy did his friends have something to say about that! He looked at a Camry.
