I recently purchased a large lot of New Old Stock auto parts from the estate of an auto parts store owner who closed the doors of the shop in the mid 80's. Along with this lot of parts was a large number of rebuilt starters and alternators. I am listing all the starters and alternators here on Ebay starting at $9.99 each with no reserve. These starters and alternators are rebuilt and have never been used or installed. Some still have the boxes, others had tattered boxes that were thrown out. Clunkers claims hit $1.15 billion Monday, government says
Tue, 11 Aug 2009Dealer claims for cash-for-clunkers rebates continued to climb late last week after it became clear that the program would get $2 billion in new funding. Dealers had submitted 273,077 applications totaling $1.15 billion as of Monday morning, the Department of Transportation said today. That's about $120 million above the figure of last Friday morning.
