Ann Arbor Sportscar is pleased to offer for your consideration a reconditioned OEM rear engine plate for the B-Series 1798cc engine found in the MGB and MGB-GT.   This rear engine plate was salvaged from a stock 1974 MGB roadster engine several years ago.   We degreased the rear engine plate, had it professionally sandblasted, prepped and finished it in a high-temperature grey engine primer to prevent flash rusting.  Please see all the photos for details.  We will ship this internationally; please email us for a shipping cost estimate to your destination.  Please e-mail us if you have any questions.

Warning to car owners ahead of peak MOT time

DRIVERS OF cars three years old and over are being warned of potential MOT pitfalls in the month of September. Due to the registration plate change in September and March each year these months also see a peak in the number of MOT tests, confirmed by statistics provided by the Vehicle Operator Services Agency (VOSA). Data has also revealed that a key area for MOT failures is vehicle lighting, which can be looked at ahead of the test.

The famous Art Car series has, to date, seen 17 cars transformed from generic racers into unique, moving canvases. For the first time, an extensive virtual tour documenting the history of the cars and their creators has been produced. Each car has an extensive back catalogue of images and a short film, which serve to show the variety of the ‘works of art on wheels'.
