Protecting your engine is very important, and the OEM splash shield doesn't do much.  This aluminum engine shield is a direct fit for the Infiniti 2007-2008 G35X and 2009-2014 G37X. THIS ONLY FITS THE AWD MODELS.  Not only will it protect better than the plastic splash guard, it will strengthen your bumper and make your vehicle easier to work on.  Imagine not having to take the entire under tray off each time you change your oil!  The built in oil trap door on this aluminum splash shield will make changing the oil a quick and clean process for your G35X or G37X.  Sleek, stylish, keeping the engine clean and offering much better protection, all while weighing only a single pound over the stock plastic under tray.  Don't hesitate to put this on your car, as it will be one of the best value purchases you can make for your G.

Protect your VQ with only the best.  Made from high quality aluminum, all holes are laser cut to direct fit in the stock location.  This version is designed to accomodate larger oil pans, spacers, and some lower front tie braces.  Installation is quick and requires little working knowledge.  Most people can do it on there own with a floor jack, jack stands, and a 10mm wrench in about 10 minutes!

  •  MADE OF .063 ALUMINUM - only slightly heavier than stock (by ~ 1 lb)
  •  LASER CUT - Precise cuts to fit stock mounting points
  •  CLEARANCE - Clearance as good as OEM or better, but stronger which improves airflow
  •  RIGIDITY - Offers better protection while strengthening bumper support for better stability at high speeds
  •  3 PIECE DESIGN - Won't bend the whole thing if you hit a curb, and can replace only the front piece. Easier to work on your engine.
  •  OIL DOOR - The OEM shroud offers little access to the filter. This built in oil door is accessible by removing 2 simple bolts and will keep air flow through the engine all the way back to the firewall.
  •  VENTED DESIGN - Helps to aid with air flow and heat removal
  •  POWDER COATED -  Extra Durability and Protection + Great look!

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

If you own a left-hand drive Aston Martin -- any left-hand drive Aston Martin -- built since November 2007, listen up: your car has just been recalled. Smug right-hand drive Aston Martin owners can rest easy, unless their car was built after May 2012; those cars are gonna need replacement parts, too. All in all, the recall impacts 17,590 cars, or roughly 75 percent of the automaker's run from the 2008 model year on, according to Reuters.

Mon, 08 Jun 2009

UK Government plans to cut 60mph national speed limit to 50mph in 2010 By Peter Adams Motoring Issues 08 June 2009 14:21 Opposition to the UK Government’s plan to lower the national speed limit from 60 to 50mph is gathering momentum. Almost 34,000 people have now signed a petition on the Number 10 website urging the Government to ‘not reduce the national speed limit to 50mph.’  It’s become the second most popular petition on the site – ahead of similar bids to stop the Government raising university tuition fees and beaten only by one calling for Gordon Brown to resign as prime minister.Cutting the UK’s national speed limits from 60mph to 50mph: the backgroundBack in March 2009, plans were announced that the Government wanted to cut the national speed limit from 60mph to 50mph on single carriageways in rural areas. In urban areas, some 30mph limits could drop to 20mph.If steamrollered through, the sweeping change to Britain’s speed limits could be enforced from 2010.
