Car crash revealed as parents’ biggest fear
Fri, 29 Aug 2014Parents of youngsters aged 16-25 are more worried about them being in a car crash than anything else – above becoming drug addicts or being unable to find a job. A poll by the Association of British Insurers (ABI) found that 62% of parents were worried about their kids being involved in a car accident. Less than a third, however, were worried about them taking illegal drugs or taking up smoking.
Audi Q3 pop-up tent (2014): perfect for a murder mystery?
Tue, 03 Jun 2014By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 03 June 2014 14:56 It might look like something you'll see on Waking The Dead or any other crime-scene investigation TV drama. But Audi did indeed show an integrated Q3 pop-up tent at the 2014 Worthersee motoring festival. Developed under the Audi Original Accessories brand, the pop-up tent clips on to the tailgate of a Q3 and erects in seven minutes flat.
Subaru Forester (2009): first official pictures
Thu, 27 Dec 2007By Phil McNamara First Official Pictures 27 December 2007 14:50 This is Subaru's all-new Forester estate, set to be unveiled at January's Detroit motor show. Devoted fans won't be disappointed, because the 2009 model year Forester dogmatically sticks to the Forester formula: a jacked up, four-wheel drive wagon, but with a newish look, more refinement and improved safety levels, says Subaru. Today's boxy, oldschool Volvo-look makes way for a boxy, newschool Mitsubishi Outlander-look. The lamps, grille and glasshouse are slightly more expressive than on the current car, but Subaru isn't breaking any new ground for car design. Good job, because last time that happened, the Tribeca MPV was inflicted on the world.
