   Product Description

This is a brand new shift boot made by Alcantara Suede with blue stitch.  This shift boot is 8.5" from bottom to top with 0.625" ring opening.  This shift boot fits automatic and manual transmission, and modification might be required.  For automatic transmission, you might need to get a new shift knob as well, and you probably want to make sure your shifter works with aftermarket shift knob (Please check demo video to get a general idea).  It will be easier to install this shift boot to manual transmission, but some modification might be needed.  Because there are too many variation, it is hard for us to know the exact installation steps for your vehicle, but we include some demo videos below to give you a general idea. We stand behind our products, so if you have any question about installation, feel free to contact us.

The installation step is varied from cars to cars, but these demo videos can give you a general idea about what you might need to do.  Again, we stand behind our products, so feel free to ask any question if you need help :

Demo installation to Mazda Miata (steps might varied from cars to cars):

Demo installation to Mitsubishi EVO X (steps might varied from cars to cars):

Demo installation to automatic transmission (Installing shift boot to automatic might have more variation than manual):

Market view: why the Jaguar XJ has an uphill battle

    Fri, 10 Jul 2009

By Glen Brooks Motor Industry 10 July 2009 16:11 It’s a sobering thought for Jaguar management that no matter how good the new 2010 XJ is, it’s never going to be a big seller. The global market for large executive saloons was in decline long before the Great Recession appeared, the buyers in this segment increasingly tempted by models as diverse as the BMW X6, Infiniti FX, Cadillac Escalade or Mercedes GL-Class crossovers and SUVs. The generation that was chauffeured in an S-class or XJ is retiring, with the owner-drivers who succeed them soon to be preferring a Porsche Panamera, Aston Martin Rapide or Audi A7.

F1 goes all arty with oil: Lewis Hamilton portrait

    Mon, 08 Jun 2009

By Peter Adams Motoring Issues 08 June 2009 14:00 It’s not often that the motoring world slickly merges with art, but Mobil 1 has made it happen. US artist David Macaluso has painted a portrait of Lewis Hamilton using oil not from a tube of paint, but from the sump of Hamilton’s F1 car. The oil was taken from Vodafone McLaren Mercedes’ 2008 F1 car – the vehicle that took Hamilton to the world championship last year.

    AXE WOES

    Mon, 04 Aug 2014

AN ORDINARY car journey almost turned into a horror film on a highway north of the US city of Boston when an axe smashed through the windscreen of a car. Massachusetts State Police say the axe bounced out of a dump truck. A photo was released showing the axe with a corner of its blade stuck in the passenger side of the car's dashboard.
