Condition:New other (see details) Brand:Redarc Manufacturer Part Number:CE10

This is a new unused Redarc CE10 charge equaliser.

The Charge Equaliser operates in a two battery 24V DC negative earth system. The Output Voltage of the Charge Equaliser is regulated to half the Input Voltage. 12V power
is available from the lower battery in a 24V system via the centre tap (bridging link). The Charge Equaliser ensures that the voltage across the lower 12V battery (I.e. the battery whose negative is connected to ground) is equalised to the voltage across the upper 12V battery in the 24V bank.

Charge Equalisers are ideally suited to loads requiring a safe, clean and stable 12V supply because of their high peak current capability and fast transient response. They are ideal for variable current loads such as winches, motors, lamps, fridges etc. because the 12V supply is taken direct from the lower 12V battery.

Renault launches front swivel seat

Sun, 04 Apr 2010

The Renault Clio Swivel Seat Option - launches this month in France Fortunately for me I’m not yet at the point where getting in and out of a car presents a problem. Hopefully I never will be. But with an increasingly ageing population it’s inevitable that many passengers will have problems getting in and out of a car.

New 2013 Nissan Note gets more appealing

Mon, 18 Feb 2013

The new Nissan Note has turned in to a Ford Fiesta basher as Nissan turn the Note from a boring little MPV in to a convincing small hatch. We did think the Invitation would be watered down to produce a slightly titivated new Note for production, but much of the style has found its way through in to the new Note – which we first saw in the JDM Nissan Note last summer – and the Note now looks set to take on proper compact hatches like the Ford Fiesta. The nose of the new Note is now more convincing – with new headlights and grill – and the doors get a great big feature crease that looks like a giant smoothing iron has stamped its mark, although Nissan say it’s a ‘Squash Line’  whose ‘angles were inspired by the flight of a fast moving squash ball travelling around a court’.

Aston Martin Cygnet. It’s a real Aston Martin. Honest.

The Aston Martin Cygnet – the ‘Vision’ video below Let’s get this out of the way, just in case you don’t read here very often and don’t know. We’re big Aston Martin fans. We think that Aston Martin produce works of art that just happen to be hugely enjoyable to drive (with a few caveats – but that’s for another time).
