You are bidding for a set of plans for snowmobile engine conversion system (redrive+motormount). A lot of ultralight, hovercraft, and airboat builders all over the world use these converted engines. A lot of redrives exist for them.

5-V redrive system is designed especially for snowmobile engine conversion, and well proven. This classical system consists of two 6061 T6 aluminum pulleys for 5 V-belts, eccentric shaft with heavy-duty closed ball bearings, motormount plate and all machined parts, rubber elements and hardware necessary for engine installation. It can be easy made at any even not high-tech machine shop. Tested and proven. Pulley drawings are included. You can easy get any desirable reduction ratio just changing the big pulley diameter. Standard shape Rotax-style hub allows using standard propellers. I used these redrives ith licensed Rotax 640 as powerplants for "Frigate" trikes. It has been installed now with Rotax 503 on my "Eagle" (look my another auction for “Eagle” plans) trike. Nice flyer. Air Trikes Enterprises is selling the set of plans for this system.

This system has a lot of advantages comparatively with other redrives:

a) Very reliable. Will be working with 4 or even 3 belts. You don't have to be so worried about your belt condition like with your single belt drive.

b) Very light and less expensive comparatively with gearboxes.

c) You can use not only provision-type Rotax but also non-provision. You don't need to convert the engine itself.

d) Spare belts are easy available and not expensive (Car Quest XL series for example)

e) Reduction ratio can be easy and smoothly changed by changing the pulley diameter.

f) The engine can be installed head-up or down.

g) This system can be easy adjusted by changing some installation dimensions to almost any project.

h) Quick (a couple of minutes) and easy adjusted belt tension.

i) It is a whole conversion unit included a motormount plate and 4 metal-rubber silentblocks. You need nothing but muffler and prop for your engine installation.

Plans are made in AutoCad system. Don’t bid if you are not going to pay for 5 days after this auction is closed! Ask questions, visit our web-site and bid with confidence, but only serious bidders please.

MINI owners paying TWICE for servicing

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

Don’y pay to service your MINI twice MINI has been busy launching the New MINI of late, with the bigger – and some would say less ‘Mini’ MINI – now revealed in both regular 3-door and new 5-door guise, and many will be popping off to their local MINI showrooms to spec up their new car. And despite a headline starting price for the new MINI Hatch of just £13,750, many buyers will end up adding thousands to the cost once they’ve been tempted by the multitude of options on offer. But one option that’s a real no-brainer is the MINI TLC Pack.

Kia GT concept (2011) at Frankfurt motor show

Mon, 12 Sep 2011

When CAR visited Kia’s Korean test facility in Namyang back in April 2011, there were several clues to suggest the company was looking into some kind of high-performance saloon: we saw an M3 and a Nissan GT-R in the car park, plus a senior engineer told us that he and the team often pondered what it would be like to build a – very specific this – V6 turbo, rear-wheel drive sports coupe. Board members, meanwhile, suggested we wait until the 2011 Frankfurt motor show to see what performance treats they had planned. Well, here’s the first glimpse of what all those clues could mean: the Kia GT.
