Mounting bracket, hardware and instructions are included for easy installation. For use on 12 volt negative ground systems only. Reese Towpower brake controls are 100% "solid-state electronic." These units meet all National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA/DOT) regulations regarding tow vehicle/trailer stoplight activation. Their ease of operation and innovative design features make them perfect choices for today's towing vehicles. Time-Based Brake Controls generate an output signal that increases over a period of time (Ramp Cycle).
