IF YOU HAVE FEWER THAN 10 FEEDBACKS, PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING. THANK YOU. Item Description: Refurbished steering column removed from a 1965 Mercedes Benz 220Sb W111 fintail. This will fit other years and models (like 220SEb), so please confirm it will work on your particular car. This is for a car that has a FLOOR SHIFTER, and is NOT for a column shift car! Please note that thee is no hole on the side for the column shifter (a floor shifter car would not need that hole). I had purchased a rusty floor shift 220S and was going to swap the floor shift parts to my column shift car. I sold the car before I swapped the running gear, and the buyer did not want this part. The column and all internal parts were disassembled and cleaned. Column was media blasted and painted with a semi-gloss as close to the original paint as I could find. There is a new German upper bearing. The horn button contact ring is mounted on the column. The turn signal switch is functional: locks into position and clicks back when column is rotated. The knobs has some age related cracking, please see detail pics. No major cracks or damage, just spiderwebbing type cracks. Chrome does have some pitting marks overall. Rubber cover is in decent condition wiith one noticeable crack, see detail pic. All splines for the steering wheel and where the column attaches to the lower coupling are good and not messed up. Threads for the steering wheel nut are fine, nut goes on and off by hand. Please note that I will partially disassemble and remove the turn signal switch for shipping. Pics and diagrams of how it goes back together will be provided to the purchaser. Part can also be picked up in Asheville, NC. Payment and shipping terms: Paypal only, or cash on pick-up. Unless prior arrangements are made, please pay within 72 hours / 3 calendar days from the end of the auction. I will only ship to a Paypal Confirmed address, so please make sure your Paypal shipping information is up to date. Shipping in the USA is free. Outside the USA to pay for USPS Priority shipping charges. I only ship internationally using USPS PRIORITY. Insurance costs if requested (for actual sale price) is additional. Customs form will be filled out for the full amount of the sale price. I do not charge any additional handling or packing charges, and I combine shipping when possible. |

Weight-saving measures have chopped up to 85kg from the new kid on a like-for-like basis, which helps achieve VW's stated efficiency boosts of 20% versus equivalent outgoing Passats.
Bernie Ecclestone's daughter buys pricey house in Los Angeles
Tue, 14 Jun 2011After nearly three years, Candy Spelling has finally found a buyer for her Los Angeles mansion (which some would call a castle)--the daughter of Formula One commercial boss Bernie Ecclestone. Petra Ecclestone, 22, will be the new owner of the 57,000-square-foot home in Holmby Hills, according to the Wall Street Journal. Spelling was asking $150 million for the joint, which puts it among the most expensive homes in the country, according to the newspaper.
