Remanufactured D17 Engine Block For 2001 - 2005 Honda Civic W/ Girdle on 2040-parts.com

One engine block out of a 7th generation civic (2001 - 2005), the block was professionally inspected and machined which included basic R&R, decking, installation of Darton dry cylinder sleeves (part #: Darton 300-011), boring and honing of cylinders (sleeves), and the installation of a Supertech block guard (part #: BG-D17). The installed sleeves provide substantially more strength over the factory sleeves especially if a forced induction system is going to be installed at a later point. In the machining of the new sleeves Wiseco pistons (part#: K624M75) specifications were used. The block guard as well provides added structure to the block and upper portion of the cylinder walls while still allowing coolant flow through the machined holes that can be seen in the provided pictures as well as being slightly recessed into the block allowing coolant to still flow by the upper portion of the cylinder, as well as being pressed into the block it was also pinned into place so as not to allow it to shift placement.
