Buick LaCrosse GL concept debuts ahead of L.A. auto show

Summoning the colors of coffee, saddles and wine, Buick has crafted an upscale concept car to illustrate its potential for interior design. The LaCrosse GL debuted on Wednesday afternoon at a Detroit concert house, ahead of a showing next week at the Los Angeles auto show. The Buick LaCrosse GL features brown and caramel-colored cocochino leather inside, ice-blue stitching and an expensive-feeling suede headliner as Buick tries to lure new customers by promoting top-shelf interiors.

Majestic Bentley to be auctioned for charity

A SUPREMELY elegant 1987 Bentley 8 is to be auctioned for charity as part of a sale including more than 150 cars. The majestic Bentley will take its place amongst the myriad other fine classic cars at the Historics at Brooklands auction in Surrey on Saturday, June 7, following the sad news of the death of the car’s current owner’s sister. Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, held its summer semester show in August, one of three graduation shows per year.
