Production Peugeot RCZ R revealed ahead of Goodwood FoS debut

Thu, 11 Jul 2013

Production Peugeot RCZ R (pictured) revealed Peugeot promised a more powerful RCZ – the RCZ R – at the Paris Motor Show last year, and subsequently confirmed it would arrive at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Now, with the FoS kicking off today with the Moving Motor Show, Peugeot has revealed photos of the production RCZ R – painted in sporty red – and given us some proper specs. As we already knew, the RCZ R makes use of the PSA/BMW 1.6 litre turbo petrol the regular RCZ already has, but in the R’s case Peugeot has managed to turn the wick up to 11 and delivered 270bhp.

Pruett Vineyard releases wine celebrating the Rolex 24 at Daytona anniversary

Wed, 23 Nov 2011

Race-car driver Scott Pruett is a master in the vineyard as well as at the track, and his Pruett Vineyard has released four new vintages this fall in time for the gift-giving seasons. The recent releases include a 2008 Pruett Napa Cab, a 2010 Pruett Grenache, a 2009 Lucky Lauren Red and a 2009 Pruett Estate Syrah--which tastes of purple fruits with traces of ginger and black pepper--that commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Prices for the fall releases range from $29 to $50, and the wines can be found at www.pruettvineyard.com.

Brabus at 2009 Frankfurt motor show

Fri, 18 Sep 2009

By Tom Sharpe First Official Pictures 18 September 2009 13:12 Mercedes tuning supremo Brabus unveiled its new 788bhp EV12 at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show – a car so powerful there’s only room for ten on the open road. Number one of ten limited-edition Brabus EV12s struck a brooding figure at the tuner’s stand – hardly surprising with a 6.3-litre bi-turbo V12 under the bonnet and a £440,000 price tag. The E-class has been transformed into a tarmac-shredding supercar-chaser thanks to the introduction of a newly developed SV12 R bi-turbo engine which, Brabus claims, was implanted under the bonnet with 'almost surgical precision'.
