This listing is for a Remanufactured Johnson/Evinrude 115/130 HP V4 60-Degree ETEC Powerhead, which will fit the following models:
The distributor requires a model number before shipping, so please add that in the order notes if available. The displacement of all models of this powerhead measured in Cubic Inches is 105.4. On our remanufactured powerheads, the cylinders have been bored to a maximum of .030, the pistons, rings, wristpins, and all bearings have been replaced; additionally, the powerhead has been repainted. A Gasket Kit is included in the order, as is a Limited One-Year Warranty. An additional Twelve-Month Extended Warranty is available for $440.00. There is no additional core charge. A core return label will be sent with the replacement powerhead, at which point the original powerhead can be returned for inspection. If the core passes inspection, a refund check of up to $100.00 will be issued to the buyer; otherwise, the core will be scrapped and not returned. Shipping will be through 3-Day Ground for a flat fee of $135.00. Increased fees will apply for Alaska, Hawaii, other US Territories, and International Shipping. Design studios from BMW DesignWorksUSA, General Motors, Honda North America, Honda Japan, Mercedes-Benz and Subaru are fighting it out to be honored in the annual contest by showcasing their creativity and talent. This year's Design Challenge asked automotive design studios to create a highway patrol vehicle for 2025 that tackled the ‘protect and serve' aspect while considering emissions, population growth and transportation infrastructure.

Call for stronger penalties for texting drivers
Tue, 17 Sep 2013DRIVERS convicted of causing death by dangerous driving should be given stronger and more consistent penalties, according to road safety charity the Institute of Advanced Motorists has said. An IAM analysis of eleven recent prosecutions involving mobile and smartphone use revealed that the average sentence for causing death by dangerous driving is four-and-a-half years in prison and a disqualification from driving for seven years. In all of the cases analysed, the convicted drivers were found to have lost their concentration due to using their mobile phone.
