This listing is for a Remanufactured Mercury/Mariner 225/250 HP V6 3.0L PRO XS Powerhead, which will fit:
All the cylinders have been bored to a maximum of .030, the pistons, rings, wristpins, and all bearings have been replaced, and the powerhead has been repainted. The Displacement of this powerhead measured in Cubic Inches is 185. A Gasket Kit is included in the order, as is a Limited One-Year Warranty. An additional Twelve-Month Extended Warranty is available for $540.00. There is no additional core charge. A core return label will be sent with the replacement powerhead, at which point the original powerhead can be returned for inspection. If the core passes inspection, a refund check of up to $325.00 will be issued to the buyer; otherwise, the core will be scrapped and not returned. Shipping will be through 3-Day Ground for a flat fee of $225.00. Increased fees will apply for Alaska, Hawaii, other US Territories, and International Shipping. The Adam S uses the familiar 1.4-litre engine already seen in the standard Adam but here it comes in turbocharged form to release 148bhp and 162lb.ft of torque, significantly more than the current most powerful Adam model. As with other sporty Vauxhall models the Adam S has chassis upgrades including bigger wheels and tyres, stiffened and lowered suspension and high specification brakes.
