2016 Subaru WRX STI will get the WRX Concept’s looks

Sun, 15 Jun 2014

The next Subaru WRX STI should look a lot like the WRX Concept (above) Subaru fans were delighted that the new Subaru WRX STI – revealed at the Detroit Auto Show in January – was actually going to make it to the UK, and at a price that isn’t too barking at £29k. But the joy that the new Scooby was heading for Subaru’s UK showrooms was tempered somewhat by its looks, looks that owed far more to the last generation WRX STI than the stunning Subaru WRX Concept we saw at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year. Bajaj RE60

Wed, 04 Jan 2012

Bajaj, the Indian manufacturer most famous for its two- and three-wheeled exploits, has now turned its attention to the automotive sector. The sub-400kg car is powered by a rear mounted engine and was conceived, originally, as a rival to the blighted Tata Nano.

Jaguar F-type prototype (2013): the testing videos

Thu, 05 Apr 2012

As Jaguar confirmed its new F-type sports car at the 2012 New York auto show, it issued some teaser video footage of the new £55,000 roadster landing in showrooms in spring 2013. Jag ambassador and former racer Martin Brundle hitches a lift with the company's chief dynamics engineer Mike Cross for a few hot laps in the F-type prototype around its handling circuit at Gaydon. We can safely ignore the hyperbole poring forth ('It's responsive, it's a great car to drive') but it's a good chance to see the all-aluminium F-type in action.
