Rolls Royce Ghost LWB Spied
Tue, 09 Nov 2010The Rolls Royce Ghost LWB caught testing At first we didn’t really ‘get’ the Rolls Royce Ghost. It seemed very close to the Phantom in all it offered, particularly in size. And seeing it for the first time – in isolation – as the EX200 did nothing to dissuade us from that notion.
New Volvo V40: Strong residual values predicted
Tue, 15 May 2012New Volvo V40 – Strong residuals Volvo has had good news from the fleet industry with strong residuals forecast for the new 2012 Volvo V40 ahead of first customer cars. We’ve been very impressed with what we’ve seen of the new Volvo V40; it’s a car that is right on the money in its style, its pricing and its range (although we’d like to see something more exciting at the top end). And now, with production of the V40 under way and the first customer cars expected to arrive in the UK in September, Volvo has had very good news from the fleet industry and the people who set residual values for car finance.
New VW Beetle gets new engines
Thu, 26 Jul 2012Volkswagen has finally made the new VW Beetle available with the 2.0 litre TSI petrol and 2.0 litre turbodiesel engines. When we reported the other day that the new VW Beetle Convertible was arriving at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November we did say that VW were about to announce the arrival, finally, of the 2.0 litre TSI petrol and 2.0 litre TDI diesel for the Beetle to make it a bit more appealing. It seems VW must have been listening as they’ve now announced that you can grab a new Beetle with either the more powerful petrol or the diesel engine, which should help sales of the new Beetle.
