This auction is for the rebuild of your 1997 - 2004 Chevy Corvette Digital Climate Unit. The display will commonly go out or turn blank. The buttons will also be dark at night. There are many bulbs that light up all the buttons. The screen being dim or dark is a separate issue which is also repaired. The dim screen is repaired and all new bulbs are installed. This service does NOT repair anything to do with the knobs, buttons, temperature knobs that do not increase or decrease the temperature reading on the screen, or other physical issues. This has a LIFETIME WARRANTY. Please note that not all units can be repaired, especially if there are prior repair attempts to the unit. Very few items fall into this category, but we must state it so you do not think we can repair your item 100% of the time. In this case, we will ship the item back and you will be responsible for the auction price as an inspection, testing, diagnosis, and return shipping cost to us. What this auction service DOES NOT repair? This service does not repair: 1) Issues with hot or cold air blowing where it shouldn't.
2) A/C not working
3) Air not blowing hard enough or blowing only at high speed
4) Driver and Passenger temperature control wheels that do not change the temperature What this auction service DOES repair? Dim or dark display screen and dark button lighting behind all of the buttons
What happens when you click "buy it now"?
1) Remove your climate unit. a. You can call or message us for instructions
b. Generally you can pull a few trim pieces in front of the climate / radio off that are secured with a few phillips head screws
2) PROPERLY package your climate unit. There should be at least 2 inches around each side of the unit. If you are unsure how to do this, take it to a UPS store or FedEx Office. 3) Ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Please insure the package to $200. This is the about the going rate for a used clock unit in the event yours is damaged in shipping. 4) Your item is generally repaired the same day it is received and returned via USPS Priority Mail. Diagnostics, testing, and labor fee: In the rare event we are unable to repair your item we charge a labor fee. The standard fee for this is $69.99. The full amount generally will not apply to services that cost less than $69.99.
This fee covers the following: Receiving, sorting, and documenting your item. Technician labor time to disassemble, power on, test, diagnose your item including leaving the item powered on for several days if applicable. Office labor to contact and follow up with the customer and beginning the shipping process. Standard shipping costs still apply to a non-repairable item which covers packing material and the time to ship the item.
If you do not want the item back, we will generally pay you a core value for your item.

KIA IS recalling more than 7,000 of its UK models due to a possible seatbelt problem. The recall affects 5,787 Sportage models and 1,432 Soul vehicles and concerns a possible fault with the vehicle's seatbelt pre-tensioner. Kia said that although it was not aware of any injuries resulting from this possible fault, discovered as a result of monitoring of customer vehicles, it was concerned that some pre-tensioners might not work properly due to a faulty piston within the mechanism.

Pierre Authier is thought to become Vice President of Design for Opel/Vauxhall, leaving his current role as Peugeot Design Director, according to a source from within the PSA design department. The position has been up for grabs since the shock dismissal of Dave Lyon just days before he took up the position in Rüsselsheim, Germany last month. Authier has been at Peugeot since the start of his career in 1998, first working on the 307 model and most recently responsible for the well-received 208 supermini.
