Speedometer Repair Service

Who are we?  We are an international speedometer sales, repair, and component distribution company founded in 2011.  We maintain the values of a small, family run business while we continue to grow on a global scale.  Our direct number is 262-456-4147.

What is this service?  We replace all of your cluster stepper motors and back light bulbs. We use OEM Switec Juken stepper motors and the highest quality bulbs. We also repair your "PRND2L" indicator if it is dim. Please contact us first if your cluster does not turn on at all. We can replace your broken lens, install different color needles, LED backlighting, and also program your odometer mileage for additional fees.

What happens when you click "buy it now"?

1) Remove the plastic trim and paneling in front of the cluster and then remove the four phillips head or 7mm screws holding the cluster in.

2) Properly package your cluster by taking it to a FedEX or UPS store. You can also view our shipping recommendations here:
Tanin Auto Shipping Tutorial

Ship your item to our facility:
Tanin Auto Electronix
7012 State Road 31, STE 100
Racine, WI 53402

3) Our turnaround time is generally 1-3 business days after receipt.  Sometimes this is extended based on repair volume. Our office number is 262-456-4147 if you have questions.

After the repair, the cluster still does not work or is broken:

This repair will not solve air bag warning lights or messages unrelated to the cluster. If you plug the cluster in and it still does not work the problem exists outside of your cluster or the cluster was replaced at some point with the the wrong part number for your vehicle. We test and take pictures of every cluster that we repair. We do not ship clusters that are not functioning as they should.

If you received a broken cluster it likely happened during shipping.  Call us so we can resolve the situation at 262-456-4147 between 9am-5pm central time.

Diagnostics, testing, and labor fee:  In the rare event that we are unable to repair your item we MAY charge a labor fee. We will ONLY do this if we spend a fair amount of time working on your cluster and we have prior consent.

The standard labor for clusters and large items is $69.99 plus return shipping (or the auction amount if lower)

The labor for small items and repairs valued between $10 and $50 is waived and you will only be charged for return shipping if you want the item back.

We are generally not able to repair an item is if someone else already attempted a repair and failed or if there is main board hardware or software damage, physical, internal electronic, or similar other damage.

If you do not want the item back, we will generally pay you the current core value for your item if it is an item we can use anything from before discarding it.

Fri, 20 May 2011

Aston Martin has rekindled its association with famed Italian design house and coachbuilder Zagato on a rebodied and re-engineered version the V12 Vantage. Like that car, the Zagato V12 is planned to be sold in limited numbers, both in road-going form and as a race car--the latter of which is set to make its debut at the N

Pininfarina may produce a few examples of the Sergio concept we saw at the Geneva motor show for a few well-heeled buyers with about $3.9 million in liquid assets. “We are considering a very limited run of five to six units," Pininfarina CEO Silvio Angori told Automotive News Europe. The Sergio is based on the Ferrari 458 Italia, and uses the same drivetrain including the 562-hp V8 and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
