Diagnostics, testing, and labor fee: In the rare event that we are unable to repair your item we MAY charge a labor fee. We will ONLY do this if we spend a fair amount of time working on your cluster and we have prior consent. The standard labor for clusters and large items is $69.99 plus return shipping (or the auction amount if lower) The labor for small items and repairs valued between $10 and $50 is waived and you will only be charged for return shipping if you want the item back. We are generally not able to repair an item is if someone else already attempted a repair and failed or if there is main board hardware or software damage, physical, internal electronic, or similar other damage. If you do not want the item back, we will generally pay you the current core value for your item if it is an item we can use anything from before discarding it.  |

Part-worn tyre sales under the microscope again
Wed, 04 Jun 2014SALES of part-worn tyres are about to hit the agenda again following a study from charity TyreSafe that found 98% of potentially dangerous part-worn tyres were being sold illegally. As a result the organisation has stepped up to take part in the forthcoming Trading Standards conference at the end of June, after a successful trial last year. Running for three days from 30th June at the Harrogate International Centre, the event is the biggest gathering of trading standards officers and enforcement professionals in the UK.
Saab 'developing diesel hybrids' to rival PSA's
Mon, 01 Nov 2010Saab has been caught testing a 9-3 with a diesel hybrid engine, according to press reports in Sweden. It seems that France's PSA won't have the diesel-hybrid market all to itself. A reporter from Automobil magazine spotted a 9-3 prototype refuelling at a petrol station in Trollhattan as he returned a test car to the factory.
General Motors recalls another 8.4m cars
Tue, 01 Jul 2014Associated Press General Motors has recalled a further 8.4 million cars as part of an ongoing investigation into a fault that causes the ignition key to turn unintentionally. Almost 30m cars across the US, Canada and Mexico have now been recalled by General Motors in 2014. Approximately 3,500 people are making claims for death or injury The recalls affect cars made as far back as 1997, but the American car maker insists that there is no conclusive evidence that faults with the cars caused crashes involving the vehicles.
