BMW E38, E39, E53 3-series, 5-series, X5 Speedometer Repair Service Who are we? We are an international speedometer sales, repair, and component distribution company founded in 2011. We repair your odometer mileage and lower message display screen. This is applicable for: 1995 - 2001 E38 7 Series, 1996-2005 E39 5 Series, 1999-2004 X5. Does not include later model 2005-2006 X5 with the updated display screen. This is an additional cost. We NEVER drill through the gauge cluster. Do not go with a seller at a cheaper cost that does this. We completely disassemble the cluster the correct way. (See our second auction picture) What happens when you click buy it now? 1) Pop the plastic trim around the cluster off with a flat blade tool, unscrew the four phillips head screws holding the cluster to the car. Do not send the speaker or large bracket. 2) Properly package your cluster by taking it to a FedEX or UPS store. You can also view our shipping recommendations here: Ship your item to our facility: 3) Our turnaround time is generally 1-3 business days after receipt. Sometimes this is extended based on repair volume. Our office number is 262-456-4147 if you have questions. After the repair, the cluster still does not work or is broken: This repair will not solve air bag warning lights or messages unrelated to the cluster. If you plug the cluster in and it still does not work the problem exists outside of your cluster or the cluster was replaced at some point with the the wrong part number for your vehicle. We test and take pictures of every cluster that we repair. We do not ship clusters that are not functioning as they should. Diagnostics, testing, and labor fee: In the rare event that we are unable to repair your item we MAY charge a labor fee. We will ONLY do this if we spend a fair amount of time working on your cluster and we have prior consent. The standard labor for clusters and large items is $69.99 plus return shipping (or the auction amount if lower) The labor for small items and repairs valued between $10 and $50 is waived and you will only be charged for return shipping if you want the item back. We are generally not able to repair an item is if someone else already attempted a repair and failed or if there is main board hardware or software damage, physical, internal electronic, or similar other damage. If you do not want the item back, we will generally pay you the current core value for your item if it is an item we can use anything from before discarding it.  |

Lotus fights back with three-year warranty and servicing deal

The move is designed to kickstart interest in the brand, which is suffering a 9% slump in sales in 2014 year to date. Lotus has sold just 73 cars in the United Kingdom over the first five months of the year.

Earlier this month we had a video from Porsche of the Panamera Sport Turismo on the move with comments and insights on the design process, and now we get a more detailed look at the development and thinking behind the transition from ugly duckling Panamera to stunningly good looking Panamera Sport Turismo. Porsche don’t want to call the Sport Turismo a Station Wagon, but that is effectively what the Sport Turismo is (and it can’t be a true Shooting Brake with four doors).
Nissan Leaf gets battery warranty boost
Fri, 28 Dec 2012Nissan Motor Co. plans to bolster the warranty of the battery module in its electric Leaf to reassure consumers of its durability. The company intends to notify current owners and dealers early next year that it will make the warranty retroactive to cover all existing Leafs, offering to repair or replace the car’s lithium-ion battery if it loses more than 30 percent of its ability to hold a charge after five years or 60,000 miles.
