D-day for General Motors: GM files for bankruptcy

It marks the 1 June deadline imposed by US president Barack Obama for the General to sort out its business – or seek protection from creditors in the bankruptcy courts. As we’re all too painfully aware, GM has been unable to perform miracles, triggering one of the greatest industrial collapses seen in American corporate history.

BMW are already planning more of the BMW-i Range You didn’t really think that BMW would stop with just the BMW i3 City car and the BMW i8 supercar, did you? Surely not, especially after we told you last year that BMW had trademarked all the i-numbers – i1 through to i9. Those BMW i trademarks would suggest that BMW are planning on having at least a pair of cars that sit below the compact i3 – a bit hard to really figure out what they will be – and perhaps a halo grand saloon at the top in the i9.

Jaguar XF Sportbrake - the Santa Special Jaguar continue the ‘official’ spy tease for the XF Estate with a spy photo of Santa packing presents in the back of the XF Sportbrake. Did Jaguar miss a trick with the ‘spy’ photo they’ve divvied up today of Father Christmas packing presents in to the back of the new XF Sportbrake? Where are the Jaguar logos on the wrapping paper?
