Solid white marine grade polymer slides take the wear and tear…so your Boat, Pontoon PWC, or Jet Ski doesn't.  These are solid polymer, similar to Starboard, so there are no hidden hollow spots or voids to cave-in as in injection-molded strips.  The smooth flat 5” wide surface spreads the weight of the hull…so it’s easier on the finish than small individual or grooved strips.  Doesn’t hold and bury sand and grit like carpet.  All edges meeting watercraft are rounded and the base is square so they butt well with a smooth top transition.  The screws are in flat counter bored pockets and the heads are approximately 1/4 inch away from any contact with the boat.   SOLD AS INDIVIDUAL STRIPS, not in pairs… so you can order what you need…not an overpriced package of too many.  Each strip is: .45” thick x 5” wide and 54” long.  Apply directly to wooden bunks or over worn carpet with supplied stainless steel low profile pan head screws, no countersink screws to loosen or pull through.

To determine your requirements measure the length of each bunk; start the glides at the rear most edge.  Just order the number of strips you need. Please remember to keep the bow strap hooked until you are safely in the water.  These can really reduce the friction!  When the water is low, it is still workable.  Simple-to-install and reduces the effort of loading and unloading. If needed, they are easy to cut and drill with common woodworking tools. Custom sizes up to 96 inches long are available please make sure the size isn't too large to ship at a reasonable cost. Unaffected by sun, weather, and seawater.  PLEASE NOTE: IN THE  CONTIGUOUS 48 STATES SHIPPING & HANDLING IS A FLAT AMOUNT  OF ONLY $ 18.49 PER ORDER ( 1 to 100 it is still only  $ 18.49 )  VIA UPS GROUND ONLY; regardless of the number ordered. Please no P. O. Boxes. Fast shipping and quality U.S.A. products... Please see our feed back...totally unsolicited... we have never requested a feedback.

Here are some emails we have received:

"After trying several different types of Bunk Glide material, our rescue squad ordered a set of glides from you last week and installed them on our PWC trailer right away.  The previous set of glides was a set of 16" pieces that were installed with 6 screws per piece.  The problem is that we load our PWCs onto our trailers in reverse, so when we slide them off on the beach, they are nose first into the water.  With the other single glides, the rear of the PWC would catch the leading edge of each individual piece and last week, a piece of the rear corner of the PWC was damaged while loading it onto the trailer.

I found your website by "accident" and we are extremely pleased with your product.  The single piece glide eliminates the previous problem and on our 9 foot bunk, we only have one seam to contend with and that is not a problem with your glides.  They butt together rather nicely.

Thank you for an outstanding product.  When seconds count in the water rescue business, we can count on Surfix glides for ease of unloading and loading.

Feel free to use any comments from the email in your promotions.  Some things that you may add are:  "Quality material" and "extremely easy to install".  You may use our name as well, "Hatteras Island Rescue Squad" (Buxton, NC)."

“For anyone who doubts, these are truly the easiest aftermarket addition to bunks I have ever seen. I took my cordless screwdriver to the boat ramp and installed them in 5 minutes. I can now launch my 20 footer by myself and no longer have to worry about my friends flaking out. The boat centered itself with ease and took less than half the strength to winch up than normal. This should save me a few winch straps along the way! Thanks again"…Gabriel H.

“Hi, just wanted you to know that the product is installed and working fine. The launching process is definitely a lot smoother, just that my procedure has to be changed somewhat now that I have to leave the winch connected or else the boat is on the ramp. It is a one handed launch now and I really like the fact that there is no wet carpet oozing water for three days and causing rusted trailer brackets. Now in a matter of a few hours everything is fairly dry and nothing is dripping. Oh well, I'm sure you know all this stuff already, thanks again."

"I have installed your product on my trailer and they work wonderfully! Before I installed the Surfix bunk slides launching my 18 ½ foot Sea Ray was very difficult at low tide. I could not do it myself, and my 14 year old son and I had to use all of our strength to push the boat off the trailer. At low tide I had to put the back of the car into the salt water. Cranking the boat on to the trailer was also very hard. With your product installed, the boat really does glide off of the trailer with very little effort. I can now easily launch the boat by myself with the car well away from the salt water. Cranking the boat onto the trailer is now very easy. Your product is fantastic! Thank you,"

"Anyone who values their jet ski would be crazy not to invest in this product. It's simply brilliant. From a very happy buyer, thanks again"

"I have a 22-foot Angler and last weekend I was out all day and was dreading having to crank the boat onto the trailer.  To my surprise when I returned, my father had added your trailer glides to my trailer. I can’t believe how much difference that made; the boat seemed like it was sliding on butter and it even centered better on the trailer.  My dad said it only took 10 minutes to install with a cordless drill.  Thank you

Just wanted to let you know you have a great product!

We installed the wide sliders on our boat trailer late last year (took about an hour), now this year we can load/unload with ease.

We trailer a 280 Sundancer, now it will slide off on its own! Our only advice is to always keep the strap on until totally ready. Thanks again,

Your product is going to make this old fisherman’s trailering MUCH EASIER!   You should advertise in Trailer Boat Magazine.  Maybe they would do a test and write up for you.

My only suggestion for improvement would be to use security headed screws and supply the bit to drive them.  I’m actually afraid someone will steal them while I’m out fishing after they watch how easy I launch and load my boat! Tim

Good Morning,

Thank you very much for the recent delivery of the new slides for my PWC.  Getting the PWC off the trailer would always take two men (all the muscle we had) to get it to budge.  We always had a hard time because the trailer would start rolling before the PWC would actually start sliding off.  Now my wife can get it off the trailer with a simple push.  They were also a piece of cake to install. Thanks again; great product:

Paul

Thanks for the info.  This is the 3rd time I ordered some with you and really love them.  I do know about the bow line needing to be secure.  Thanks for the great product.

John

I installed a set of your bunk slides on my 30’ Continental Trailer last year.  My boat is a 30’ Grady White Marlin 300.  What a difference!!  I have had a year to “test”.  I can tell you it is easier to launch and retrieve this boat than my previous 24’ Grady on its 64 roller trailer.

This is a great quality, well made product, that was very easy to install and works great.

Thank you, Tony

I ordered some custom sized Surfix slides for my 2 boats, a 22’ Sea Hunt and a Maverick tunnel flats boat.  They make loading my 22’ Sea Hunt a breeze; it slides on and off the trailer instead of having to float it off keeping my new truck far away from the salt water.  With my Maverick I can launch and load with the bunks just ABOVE, that’ right, the bunks don’t even get wet.  I can launch it just about anywhere.

I love my Surfix slides and will have them on any boat trailer I ever own.

Thanks, Mike

Today at work, I just got a call from my wife after she and my sons launched the Jon boat.  She couldn’t believe how easy it was.  They have already winched it on the trailer, with me just watching, and had no problems.

I guess the long short of it is, I’ve been on and around boats for over 30 years and have owned at least one for that time and your glides work easily as well as any roller configurations I have tried in that time.

I still can’t believe how well they work.

Please feel free to use any portion of this email for testimonials, ads, etc.

Thanks for a great product,

Brian

Hi!

Today was the very first day we launched our 18.5 ft. speedboat with your Trailer Bunk Glides and OH MY GOODNESS, we couldn’t believe how easy it was:  As I told my next door neighbor, the boat glided off the bunks like butter!

You see, our public boat launch has almost NO incline to it and we have to deal with very low tides at certain times.  Because of this, we have spent the last 6 years dunking our car into the salt water since our boat bunks only had the factory carpet on them, which acted like Velcro on the basin of our boat making it very difficult to launch the boat without getting the trailer and car deep into the water.  Today, our back car tires were a couple feet from the water’s edge and they didn’t get wet at all!

Thank you so much for having such a great, easy, cost effective product available.

I we be telling everyone I know about it!!!

Sincerely,

Jordan
