Thu, 16 Feb 2012Aston Martin V12 Zagato - the video The Aston Martin V12 Zagato has now been revealed in production guise, and we have the first video of the new Aston in motion. The Aston Martin V12 Zagato has been on its way for the best part of a year, from the reveal of the track version of the new Zagato at Villa D’Este through pictures and video of Zig and Zag on track and finally the first official pictures of the production version of the V12 Zagato last week. But now Aston Martin have finally revealed the V12 Zagato in Kuwait they’ve seen fit to release a video – sadly, a rather short video – of the V12 Zagato in action on the road.
Runaway ostrich causes traffic chaos
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Rush hour in the town of Tunbridge Wells took a humorous turn yesterday when a runaway ostrich shot past cars at speeds of over 40mph, with a clear disregard for road conditions, traffic and speed limits. Alarmingly, the rogue bird is still on the run from police and there are fears it could cause carnage in the town centre, as the RSCPA warns fully-grown ostriches max out at around 60mph. On Bing: see pictures of runaway ostriches Cars named after animals If the ostrich were to collide with an individual, its lack of crumple zones means the pedestrian could be badly injured and, as far we’re aware, ostriches are yet to be put through strict Euro NCAP crash tests.
Project Car Hell, Unidentifiable German Coupes Edition: Borgward Isabella Coup
Thu, 08 May 2014Welcome back to Project Car Hell, where every iron atom always finds the oxygen it seeks, every vehicle ran when parked, and the parts you need are always in another continent! Last week, we got all patriotic with a couple of classic American muscle cars, and that just whetted our appetite for cars that were smaller and more, you know, German. We gave you a tough choice between a couple of air-cooled Volkswagens not long ago, but this time we're interested in German marques that disappeared in the 1960s: NSU and Borgward.
