2012 BMW 3 Series Video Friday was all about the reveal of the new 2012 BMW 3 Series. And we managed to get a big new 3 Series photo gallery up (the most popular page this month already on Cars UK – which tells you how popular the 3 Series is) and full UK prices too, so we thought we ought to update that lot with some video of the new 3 Series to make sure we’d covered all the bases. Mazda sells 10 millionth car in America

The first car Mazda ever sold in America was the R100, a cute lil' two-door fastback that was, unsurprisingly, rotary-powered. The year was 1970. Iggy Pop had made that much explicitly clear with "1970." Just imagine how weird it must have been for Americans to wrap their minds around some tiny Japanese upstart, selling a car approximately the size of a 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham's wheelwell, powered by -- what's this, German technology?

Two cars dropped from Barrett-Jackson lineup at Scottsdale

The roster of cars at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., next week has been cut by two. Barrett-Jackson has dropped a 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda recreation because the vehicle identification number on the car did not match the VIN on the title. A little legwork found that the car had been reported stolen in 1976.
