BMW 1 Series

The German automaker's second generation B-segment contender has grown 83mm longer, 14mm wider and has had its wheelbase stretched 30mm over its predecessor. Though the 1 Series is the smallest vehicle in the range, the new car retains proportions typical of BMW, with a long hood and wheelbase and a set-back cabin.
New MINI to be unveiled on 18 November
Mon, 19 Aug 2013The new third-generation MINI Hatch will be revealed at the British brand’s Oxford factory on the 18 November, ahead of a simultaneous showcase at the 2013 LA and Tokyo Motor Shows two days later. In a nice touch from the BMW-owned carmaker, the special unveiling event will be held 107 years to the day since creator of the original Mini, Sir Alec Issigonis, was born. ECOVELOCITY PROVES TO BE A HIT
Thu, 10 Oct 2013ECOVELOCITY, the UK’s first eco motoring festival held at Battersea Power Station last week, delivered the UK’s largest ever eco test drive event, with almost 7,000 consumer drives of electric, low and ultra low carbon vehicles on the bespoke test track. Visitors and their families fully embraced the ‘hands on’ opportunities the show offered. Over 1,500 visitors participated in the Honda Racing Bug Activity, while Get On - the campaign to encourage more people to ride motorcycles - introduced 350 visitors to the benefits of riding and took numerous bookings for the future.
