Is this a Fiat 500T for the US? (video)
Tue, 17 Jul 2012It’s rumoured a Fiat 500T is about to launch in the USA, and we perhaps have the first look in a new Fiat 500 commercial. Even though we’re living in a car world that’s more global in its offerings than ever before, there are still significant differences between offerings in different markets. It’s understandable if you have genuine concerns about the credentials of a party to the deal, but taking Vlad out of the equation was an accident waiting to happen. Without Vlad there was no financial safety net for Saab.
Toyota announces winners in design competition (w/ Video)
Tue, 20 Jan 2009Toyota has announced the winners of a sponsored design competition hosted by London's Royal College of Art. Based on the theme of ‘Intelligent Urban Living', the winners include a simple but effective vertical storage system to keep bikes out of reach of thieves and a keyboard display that makes life easier for two-fingered typists. Inspired by the design of Toyota's innovative iQ city car, which addresses many of the challenges of modern city living with its compact dimensions, the contest generated inspiration that gave a new twist to some familiar household objects and produced innovations to make modern life easier and more environmentally responsible.
