Bridgestone reinvents the wheel
Wed, 11 Dec 2013THE WHEEL is being reinvented with the development of an airless tyre for cars that could put an end to punctures and be kinder to the environment. This does away with the need to pump up the tyres, which means a puncture is no longer a problem as the tyre cannot deflate.
Jaguar XE full price & specs revealed – costs from £26,995 to £44,870
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Jaguar XE full price & specs revealed – costs from £26,995 to £44,870 The new Jaguar XE had a glitzy London launch last month, but all we really got was the XE S; the lesser models were kept under wraps until the Paris Motor Show debut. And Jaguar are obviously feeling pretty bullish about the XE, because instead of offering it at a discount to their main challenger – the BMW 3-Series – they’ve actually come in at a bit of a premium.
UK roads slide in global satisfaction survey
Wed, 22 Jan 2014THE UK has slipped yet further down a league table of roads quality, according to data released in the 2013-14 World Economic Forum report. The study, which is based on people’s perceptions of their own country’s infrastructure, highlights growing dissatisfaction among the British people regarding the state of the road network.
