Porsche 911 designer Butzi Porsche dead at 76
Thu, 05 Apr 2012Ferdinand Alexander “Butzi” Porsche died Thursday morning in Salzburg, Austria. He was 76. Since 1972, Porsche had led his own industrial design firm, Porsche Design.
BMW i3 spied

Just a few weeks on from the launch of BMW’s new “i” sub-brand, and we have the first spy photo of the BMW i3 out and about in the Scandinavian snow. It seems BMW were busy filming this quite heavily camouflaged i3 for BMW TV when it was snapped, so it seems likely we may be seeing some video soon.
Noble and Green's new 1000mph speed record bid

The pair are preparing to break through the 1000mph barrier for the first time, 12 years after they set today's 763mph record. The two speed specialists today launch the Bloodhound Project – which will sire a 6.4-tonne supersonic car.
