2013 Shelby Super Snake to debut at Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas auction

Two new versions of the Super Snake are now being offered, one with 662 hp and one with an upgraded supercharger and an output of 850 hp. It will feature a 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine coupled to an electric motor by a clutch, which means the drive goes through the propshaft to the rear wheels whatever mix of power source is being used. The M35 Hybrid is a mild hybrid, with the electric motor being used to boost the petrol engine when maximum power is called for, as well as charging the battery and recovering energy that would otherwise be lost under braking and acceleration.
VW recalls Jettas for wiring problem
Mon, 28 Mar 2011Volkswagen of America Inc. on Monday voluntarily recalled 71,043 2011 Jettas because of wiring problems with the anti-theft alarm system and horn. "The current electrical wiring layout has the horn wiring protected by the same fuse as the converter box wiring," said VW spokeswoman Sheriece Matias.
